In the mean time I went to the Valle de Luna, the moon valley, it is a rock formation all around La Paz that has been eroded into weird shapes over the years. I went with a couple of people from the hostel and one of their friends from somewhere else. We got a 'combi' out, they are mini vans that have been converted into sort of taxis only doing specific routes. When we first arrived there I didn't think too much, I thought it was a bit of a waste of time, it cost me $15 Bolivianos to get in, not that much money considering the exchange rate. There were two route options to take, a fifteen minute one and a forty five minute one, first we took the fifteen minute route, in reality it only took about five, it was okay but we needed more than that, we circled round back to the beginning and went and did the forty five minute route.
