Back on the boat everybody was asleep, literally everybody. Walking towards our hammocks we nearly stepped on a baby, it was just sprawled out across the floor, if we had been drunker or I hadn't notice we may have trod on the poor little bastard. It was just on the floor, no mat, no blanket, at least it was clothed and looked relatively comfortably asleep. When we got to out hammocks I noticed that the two Frenchies (I say Frenchies, they are a French couple) next to us must have been out, I couldn't see any signs of them. I went for a piss, brushed my teeth in what was most probably water pumped straight from the river and went back to my hammock, I was actually very excited, I think it was the first time that I would be sleeping in a hammock and definitely not the last, at least from what I can remember. When I got in, I noticed that the Frenchies hadn't gone out at all, they were wrapped up in their hammocks like caterpillars just after entering the cocoon stage.
