We had been served breakfast on the boat, nobody is quite sure what it is, it looked like hot chocolate, had a similar consistency but didn't taste of anything. When I got my hammock, the man made me buy a bowl and asked if I had a fork or spoon, now I know why. The 'hot chocolate' was served with two buttered bread buns. Yum, yum what a nice breakfast, I know it isn't very good of me but I had to pour most of it away, it tasted awful.
A couple of hours after our late breakfast we were served our lunch, it was guess what? Chicken, rice and plantain, raw plantain at that, not quite potato, in fact I would have much preferred potato to the horrible over earthy tasting raw plantain, its so nice when fried or cooked on the bbq, not raw for goodness sake! I gave my chicken to Brian and threw the plantain overboard, it was so foul that it had to be done, nobody around wanted to have any extra.
