We left the bar, a while later, four bottles each down us, now it was time to search for food. We searched and searched until we couldn't be bothered with it any more, most places were the same price for the same food, chicken and rice, burgers of Chinese. We settled with a Chinese, it was about $7 Soles for a big plate of meat and rice, the meat dish was pretty much half the price of any vegetarian dish so I got meat and took out most of it and gave it to Brian. I couldn't or wasn't supposed to eat meat as part of a cleansing detox for my ayhuasca diet; no meat (oops), no alcohol (oops), no fried food (oops), no salt (oops), no sugar, no spice (probably okay there), no sex (???), pretty much everything I enjoy, I couldn't do. The ideal diet is apparently plain boiled rice, and plain potatoes, fat chance of that when travelling, especially on a boat that had God knows what food on it, most probably, chicken, rice and potatoes.
