It must have taken us over an hour to do the forty five minute walk, partly because we were in no fit state to be doing this and also we wanted to get our moneys worth out of it so took our time. When we were finally through, we waited for a bus to get back to central La Paz and stop off at an Arabic Restaurant to get some soup for $5 Bolivianos. We got a taxi as the only bus we saw in half an hour was full and it had started to rain. Soon after we got in the weather took a turn for the worse and the rain really came down, luckily we were in the relative comfort of a taxi not standing up cramped on a bus. The journey seemed to take for ever, even if it only took us twenty minutes it certainly felt like over an hour, none of us knew how long it was really taking.
