On the Saturday before we had to go and pick up my mother from the airport, Tommy decided he would take me to this place called 'Sonic' it was an old fashioned style drive through restaurant, the waiters and waitresses went round on roller skates, you could either eat in your car, I the restaurant or take away. We took away as we had to take some food back to Tommy's house. The food is pretty much the same as the kind of stuff you get in any fast food chain and diner, nothing special, although they did have big fat burgers in sliced bread instead of normal burger buns. I went for a big cheeseburger and a foot long hot dog. I was really hungry as I hadn't eaten any lunch and it was now early evening so I ate my hot dog as soon as I could. On the way back we went via a liquor store to pick up some beers to wash down the food with. I got some beer called honey brown lager or something like that. It was okay, like a dark lager, slightly more full bodied with a barely noticeable honey taste. The food was pretty nice as far as fast food goes. I chose to get these potato things, they were like potato croquettes, I think they were actually potato croquettes but called something else. After the food we played some more games of FIFA until it was time to go and pick up my mother from the airport.
