We were seated in our families on the front row then everybody else were either friends or local people generally attending the church. When I was looking around at all the regular people at the church they slowly seemed less and less regular, in fact I would go as far to say that they were right out freaks. Most of the women had massive 'bingo wings' the saggy flaps of skin under the arms, and they weren't that fat, none of them had necks, it was just chin to chest. What had happened to all these poor people, maybe they had become so engrossed in their religion that they had forgotten to care for themselves. Any way, the mass was under way, the priest introduced everybody and the ceremony. My aunt and uncle were sitting on two chairs at the front, it was pretty much a wedding again, they were renewing their vowels as most people tend to do on the 50th wedding anniversaries. The priest was actually okay, he didn't seem to care that a lot of the audience were non church goers and just continued as was. When it came to taking the communion I opted out of it, I had been baptised, had my holy communion and even been confirmed but I don't believe in any of this religion crap any more so I thought it was best if I stayed in my seat. The whole service didn't last too long, it seemed like it was all done and dusted in under an hour which is pretty good for a wedding ceremony. We had some photographs taken in the church and a couple more outside the church then we left to go to the reception at a local Italian restaurant down the road.
