The party wasn't over yet, just because we had eaten and left the restaurant there was still much more partying to do. We were all going back to my aunt and uncles place, literally all the family at the party were going back. Well not all of them, some of my cousins from Connecticut and up state New York left to go home, they had a pretty long drive ahead of them. We were the last ones to leave the restaurant, I had to wait around until everybody had left and say goodbyes with my aunt and uncle. When we got to their house everybody was outside waiting to go in, I couldn't imagine how you could get all those people into the house. I didn't actually expect everybody to come back to the house, I don't think my aunt and uncle did either. My cousins Tommy, Matt and the rest of them hadn't shown up, it was just Maria and Sarah. I went to go over to their house to get them to make them come over. When I got there Matt had left an I thought he went out but it turned out that he was walking over at the same time but went a different direction. I waited at theirs for a bit until they were all ready to leave. I had a couple of beers and spoke to Karl, finally Tommy was ready so we left. Like I said, to my surprise Matt was there already. There wasn't really mush to do apart from sit around and chat or watch TV but that was hard with little kids running around all over the place. The kids were running around, the oldies were sitting in the kitchen chatting and us lot were sitting in the lounge watching TV. As soon as I got in, I ran straight upstairs to get out of my suit and put on something a little cooler and more comfortable. Something more comfortable simply being the same shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and my beige linen trousers, the most perfect buy I have ever had. I was still pretty drunk, I think most people were, maybe even the ones who had been driving. The younger kids were playing hide and seek around the house, running around making this awful racket, I didn't care too much but I could see my uncle looking a little bit pissed off with it all. Oh well, what can he do, after all it was his special day.
