When we got to the hostel there was a bit of a who ha about the room situation, to be honest there was this really annoying American guy who nobody wanted to be near, he had bored the crap out of everyone on the bus and came out with the stupidest of shit. He ended up being in a room with Giovanni and myself, very fun, luckily all we had in mind was sleeping as we needed to be on our way up the mountain to MachuPicchu at four so needed all the sleep we could get.
The hot springs were okay, I have been to some before and these weren't anything special, the best thing about them was the view, they were in the middle of a valley and had tropical mountains either side of them. The town Aqua Calientes itself was pretty crap, just touristy shops, touristy bars, touristy restaurants and souvenirs everywhere, altogether very very touristy.
After the hot springs we headed straight for restaurant, what a surprise, the same food again, soup, fish or meat with rice and chips and fruit juice. I was brave and opted for the Alpaca, it was okay but the portion was so small, it just tasted like venison, couldn't get the full flavour of it. The meal was okay, after it I headed straight for the hostel and to bed. They had supplied us with a packed lunch consisting of, a cheese sandwich, a banana and a carton of juice, nice of them, save us some money on food.
