I had such a long time to wait in Miami that I had no idea what to do, the internet had to be paid for and my ipod battery was running very low. I read some of my book, walked around loitered here and there. In hindsight I should have used the time to catch up on my writing but I wasn't thinking too logically so I went around looking in the shops. I fancied getting a new book because I was coming to the end of my tether with 'the wild boys', as it was Burroughs it was a hard read and it was just getting a bit too descriptive for my liking. I didn't have a clue what book to buy, I had asked for one before but they didn't have that one here so I just looked around and found George Orwell's '1984' I had heard so many good things about this book and had already read some other dystopian novels so thought I might as well give this one a go and bought it. I also bought a copy of the June issue of Playboy magazine, I had also heard good things about playboy. It regularly features great writers and has very clever and witty articles, much better than the sort you would find in the likes of FHM or Loaded or other men's magazines. I boarded my plane to take me New Orleans, I was really excited now, I was actually getting somewhere after travelling all day and not really going any further than one hundred miles.
