That night some of us planned to go out but once again ended up drinking at the hostel again until we all realised that it was about 4.00am and some went to bed but I couldn't stop watching this infomercial about some blenders or something. The advert was set up like it was an actual programme not an advert, there was a fictional family with friends all played by really bad low budget over the top actors. I couldn't tell if it was a real advert or if it was some comedy show, it was funny and it was the most stupid thing I have ever seen but I have to admit after I sat there for nearly an hour watching it I wanted the product they were selling. There was something called a magic bullet, sounds like some sexual toy but it was a miniature food processor. The other was some all purpose bigger food processor. While I'm on the subject of informercials, there is this product in the states called a 'shake weight' I don't know what to call it other than a thing that supposedly works on your upper body strength and muscles, it looks like a dumbbell with springs on either end and it shakes from side to side. The video clips on the advert look ridiculously sexual and the women’s version is even worse, I think they might have even banned that advert as I haven't seen it in a while. After the informercial finished I went to bed, this time it was only about 5.00am so not quite as late as last night but still rather late.
