The walk and the fact that I hadn't eaten anything yet was making me so hungry, I couldn't bare it any more and decided to get some food in the festival thing. I chose a burrito as I was curious as to how it would compare to the one at Juan's in New Orleans. It wasn't quite as good but it would do, it was really nice but only had one kind of meat, I went for beef over chicken. Plus it only cost me about $6 and was filling enough to keep me satisfied for a short while at least. We didn't get too far into the village before we ran into trouble. I say trouble I'm not implying anything bad, just an inconvenience or something we weren't necessarily expecting. We knew there was some Gay Lesbian Bi-Sexual and Transgender march today going through the city somewhere but had no clue where. It made sense that it be in the village as there is the gay area of NYC. There were roads closed off left, right and centre and police everywhere you looked. The place was mobbed, to get from one side of the road to the other took about five minutes no exaggeration. We were still looking for a bar but couldn't find anything that looked worth going in, by that I mean cheap as none of us really has a budget for going to one of the more sophisticate establishments around here.
