We met a few girls in the bar, well we didn't exactly meet them, the bald guy went over and spoke to them then came over and introduced them to us. It looked like he was trying quite hard to chat them up but didn't have any luck, then they met us and he was totally out of the picture. The bald guy had admitted earlier on that he has a thing for fat girls and told us a few of his stories, he really did like them fat and kept going on about it. The girls stuck around and told us that they knew of a bar/club that had no cover charge and had good live music and went on till the early hours. We all went along and got in a taxi to take us there. Outside the place was a fast food vendor with a name on top of the menu saying 'pull my pork'. The place had a massive bbq and they even had their own smoker to make beautifully smoked, bbqued pulled pork sandwiches. They tasted delicious but cost a lot, about $7 for a small sandwich. I never bought any but tried other peoples, I wanted some but never plucked up the courage to fork out that much on one small sandwich. The place was called 'Tipitinas' and is a relatively famous venue for local bands and some bigger bands to play. We were planning to go to some bars on Frenchman st but we were easily swayed by the idea of a free bar/club with good bands.
