That night me and Giovanni booked our trip to MachuPicchu for the next morning. One of the main reasons why I chose south America was to see MachuPicchu, I have seen it on the TV and in loads of photographs but never in real life, I was now booked to go and see it, it wasn't cheap, a two day tour, drive there, hike, train and entrance to site, including all accommodation and food and drink was about $150 US. As it was something I really wanted to do I didn't mind forking out the money for it.
