We decided to get out an walk to the restaurant, it was only about a minute from where we were stuck in traffic. It is an Argentinian owned Arabic restaurant, has cheap, tasty, wholesome food, and the soups come quite highly recommended. We went in and sat upstairs, I say upstairs but it was a dodgy mezzanine level, not a separate floor, worse still, it felt very, very unstable. I don't think it was me, the floor was wobbly, and it felt as though everything around was sinking towards the middle, I was pretty much sitting in the middle and I had a feeling that everything was drawing closer and closer to me every time I looked around. All the other people eating looked like hippies and were probably on something so we didn't feel so out of place, apparently the other day somebody was seen rolling around on the floor so I don't think anything we could have done at that moment could have topped it. When the waitress came over, I opted for the lentil soup, I like lentils and it sounded better than the rest, two of us got cream of chicken and two got lentil, when they came out I was happy with my decision, only problem was actually eating it. Every time I tried to put my spoon in the bowl, it seemed as if the bowl was sinking away, I moved closer, the bowl moved further away, in the end I gave up trying to chase the soup and just picked up the bowl and drunk and ate it in stages, not the most pleasant way but it worked for me. Maybe after an hour or so of eating, or more laughing than eating, we left back to a mates hostel to get some things then head back to our hostel.
